Oh be Joyful - music for a summer evening
Well done to all who helped to make our recent concert of Vivaldi & other Baroque Choral Works, on 16th March, such a success and, of course, thank you to our wonderful audience.
The Chapel at Wellington College was a perfect setting and the Vivaldi Gloria was glorious, greatly helped by the four young soloists from Wellington School and the musical ensemble.
The program also included Vivaldi’s Stabat Mater which was beautifully sung by a very promising countertenor from Wellington School.
Hoping for some lovely summery weather for our next concert, on 15th June, see below.

WHO ARE CROWTHONE CHORAL SOCIETY?
We are a friendly neighbourhood choir and we sing pieces from the classical, modern and traditional repertoire. We rehearse weekly during term time and put on three public concerts each year.
