A Choral Workshop led by Greg Hallam
Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire
As part of our 50th Anniversary Celebrations, Crowthorne Choral Society is delighted to invite you to a Choral Workshop in the splendid setting of Wellington College Chapel, with the distinguished choral conductor and soloist, Greg Hallam, and accompanist George de Voil, Crowthorne Choral Society’s regular accompanist, and Assistant Director of Music (Choral) at Wellington College.
Music Director Greg Hallam
Greg is a choral conductor based in London, who directs five weekly choirs and other professional ensembles for special events. He is Musical Director of Swansea Bach Choir and Bracknell Choral Society.
He is in much demand as a soloist and ensemble singer. Greg studied at the Royal College of Music as a singer, gaining a BMus(Hons) and graduated with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, having studied for a MA in Choral Conducting.
He teaches one-to-one singing to the Worcester Choristers at Christchurch Cathedral School, Oxford and at Wellington College. He holds an LRAM diploma with distinction.
Accompanist George de Voil
George was educated at The London Oratory School, and Exeter College, Oxford, where he was Organ Scholar and gained a First Class degree in Music. He is now Assistant Director of Music (Choral) at Wellington College, where he directs the Chapel Choir.
He is accompanist for Crowthorne Choral Society. and also Organist and Director of Music at St James’s, Sussex Gardens, in London, continuing a tradition of distinguished organist-composers that has included Dr Harold Darke and Sir George Thalben-Ball.

£15 per person. You may pay by cheque payable to Crowthorne Choral Society, or online via Eventbrite. Last date for booking – 15th September 2018
£3 cash on the day or you may wish to use your own copy. Please specify when booking.
Tea, coffee and cake will be available during registration, lunch and afternoon breaks. There are several cafés within Crowthorne for lunch, or you may wish to bring your own.
